Fire swept through a west Birmingham home early Wednesday, leaving three people in critical condition.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service was dispatched about 2 a.m. to the one-story brick house in the 6600 block of Avenue K in the Green Acres community. A neighbor called 911 to report the blaze.
