Thunderstorms with marble-sized hail in Alabama Saturday – wind gusts reaching 40 mph

A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 7:45 p.m. for Fayette, Winston and Walker counties.

The storms could bring marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) and wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
