Thunderstorms with penny-sized hail in West Central Alabama Wednesday – winds gusting up to 40 mph

The National Weather Service issued a report at 7:27 p.m. on Wednesday for strong thunderstorms until 8 p.m. for Lamar, Fayette and Pickens counties.

Wind gusts of up to 40 mph and penny-sized hail (0.75 inches) are foreseen.
