Thunderstorms with quarter-sized hail and damaging winds in Monroe County Wednesday

At 9:31 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service released a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 10:15 p.m. for Monroe County.

The storms are expected to bring quarter-sized hail (1 inch) and wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
