The May Day version of “ding-dong-ditch” traditionally involves leaving flowers by the front door anonymously. But back in the days of elaborate Beltane celebrations, the flowers were a more prominent theme, stacked into crowns and offered up by the armful. Bonfires blazed, wishes were wished, dances were danced and all of life surged toward summer.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). A flower associated with Aries is the bold, blazing poppy. It’s vivid and bright, though also linked to the dream world (just ask Dorothy and friends on their way to see the wizard.) It is dreaming and doing in a single bloom.
