Troy pitcher Benjamin Stubbs was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 2026 MLB draft on Sunday.
Stubbs, a senior from Macon, Ga., was taken with the 275th overall pick in the ninth round. He was the second Trojans player selected in this year’s draft, after shortstop Aaron Piasecki went to Houston in the eighth round.
