Troy’s biggest inning of 2026 extended its baseball season at least one more day.
The Trojans scored a season-high nine runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to spark a 15-7 victory over Rider at the NCAA Gainesville (Fla.) Regional on Saturday. After a four-hour, seven-minute marathon, Troy (33-30) advances to face the loser of Saturday night’s game between Miami and Florida in an elimination game at 11 a.m. Central on Sunday.
