President Donald Trump said this week that Pope Leo XIV is endangering Catholics by opposing U.S. military action against Iran.
Continuing his ongoing public feud with the pontiff, Trump told radio talk-show host Hugh Hewitt on Monday that, in criticizing the war, Leo is insinuating that it’s “okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon.”
