Alabama’s U.S. senators are reportedly among the congressional Republicans opposed to President Donald Trump’s using a $1.776 billion “anti-weaponization fund” in part to compensate offenders who attacked law enforcement during the Jan. 6, 2021 resurrection at the Capitol.
