Democratic candidates GiGi Hayes and LaTanya Millhouse are facing a runoff as voters head back to the polls today to decide who will hold the Alabama House of Representatives District 52 seat.
In the primary, Hayes led the race with 3,880 votes at 48.87%, followed by Millhouse with 2,096 votes at 26.4%. The two candidates beat out incumbent Rep. Kelvin Datcher, D-Birmingham, for the spot.
