Jefferson and Mobile counties, the two largest that are involved in Alabama’s special primary on Aug. 11, were still working on reassigning voters to the correct congressional district as of Monday afternoon.
Wednesday is the deadline for doing that, according to the schedule set by Gov. Kay Ivey when she scheduled the special election under a mandate from the Legislature.
