More than a month after AL.com first reported that UAB women’s soccer coach Lisa Mann was not directing the team, the school announced her departure on Monday.
Mann has not coached the Blazers since the second game of the season — which took place on Aug. 16 — with no public explanation given. She has been replaced by interim coach Mark Hiller, according to a brief statement issued by UAB athletics on Monday.
