Ty Simpson didn’t have to wait as long as many had projected to hear his name called in the NFL draft.
Simpson was selected No. 13 overall in the first round by the Los Angeles Rams. Most pre-draft analysis had him going late in the first round at the earliest — and possibly having to wait until Round 2 on Friday.
