Tuscaloosa County surpassed $1 billion in visitor spending in 2025, representing 20% of all spending in the county and marking a milestone for the local economy, according to local tourism group Visit Tuscaloosa.
More than 750,000 overnight visitors booked 1.1 million paid accommodation room nights throughout the year, according to the group’s most recent annual report.
