Alabama students named winners of college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships

More than 70 Alabama High School students were awarded National Merit Scholarships by colleges and universities.

Colleges selected winners from among finalists in the 2026 National merit Scholarship Program who planned to attend their institutions. Awards ranged from $500 to $2,500 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study.
