A trial date has been set for Brendan Sorsby’s injunction against the NCAA, and it seems highly favorable for the Texas Tech quarterback and his team.
According to ESPN, the trial is set to take place Feb. 8 in the 99th District Court in Lubbock County, Texas, the same court that granted Sorsby a temporary injunction on Monday. That date is two weeks after the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, meaning Sorsby seems likely to play the entire 2026 season without at least intervention from the courts.
