Death of crew leader struck by vehicle a ‘solemn reminder,’ ALDOT says

A longtime Alabama Department of Transportation employee was killed when he was hit by a vehicle in an active work zone.

ALDOT officials identified the victim as Amad Jackson. He had worked with the agency for 24 years and was a crew leader.
