Fairhope defensive standout Gus Faulkner has committed to South Alabama for the 2027 recruiting class, he announced Monday.
Faulkner (6-foot-2, 205 pounds) was a second-team Class 7A All-State pick in 2025, when he totaled 121 tackles, nine tackles for loss, four pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, an interception and a sack. Faulkner announced his commitment via social media:
