Former sheriff’s office manager allegedly stole more than $310,000 from Mobile County

A former Mobile County Sheriff’s Office fleet manager has been indicted on federal charges of tax evasion, bank fraud and money laundering.

According to court records, a grand jury returned the indictment Thursday for Daniel Holifield on 10 counts of bank fraud, one count of money laundering and three counts of tax evasion.
