UAB will open the 2026 football season on the Big Ten Network at Illinois on Thursday, Sept 3. at 8 p.m. Central. Additionally, the Blazers will play in at least two more nationally televised games, as six game designations were released on Wednesday.
The other two televised contests are home night games against American Conference opponents Navy (Friday, Sept. 25, ESPN) and East Carolina (Thursday, Oct. 15 on either ESPN or ESPN2). Kickoff times for those games will be announced at a later date.
